Katie Beth is the oldest member of the band, the oldest kid in the Groover family, and is the “band manager”. She handles the booking and most of the business aspects of the band and pretends to keep everyone straight. She also does all the website and image work. She started classical violin lessons when she was eleven years old and continued for a few years. She is now taking fiddle lessons from Clifton Preddy of Constant Change. She currently attends Vance Granville Community College, trying to figure out what to do with the three associates degrees she plans to graduate with.
If you can’t find her, try: The used bookstore (she’ll be spending every cent she has on old classics), her desk (she’ll be doing a combination of studying, chatting, updating some Web page, blogging, listening to music, and editing pictures and graphics in Photoshop), a chair in the family room (she’ll be studying, reading an old classic, or drawing), the gym (she’ll be working out or running), or somewhere where there’s swing music (she’ll be dancing).
